I am that guy that you just want to be friends with. Please do the right thing and dont string him along anymore. Tell him straight up youre not attracted to him but he is a good friend, (that really sucks for guys). Also, you need to be the one to tell him that you are attracted to his friend, this will make it easier when he finds out you are dating him, he wont lash out at his friend. As a guy he cant be mad at his friend for you picking him. Now, if his friend is the one that approaches you, then thats a diffrent story. Either way tell him, its going to hurt him, but everyone needs to be hurt every once and a while so they can learn how to deal with it later in life and move on.

same thing happened to me, i went for the guy i liked weve been together a month and i love him alot. the other guy got over it and hes going out with my friend now. do what you feel is right, it should work out.

Honesty is the best policy. You maybe should tell you guy friend first b4 you act on his mate. That way he can save face.

Tell him you will go out with him once and tell him no promises you will want to do it again. Sounds fair enuf!
