I would agree tell him, better to not have regrets about if I had..

Do try to brace yourself for the fact while he is away he may do things you know nothing about, and return back to you.

Some people might be okay with that, personally I would have some difficulty with it because, it is not like he has to admit to you whatever he has been up to, you haven't said how well you know him, in this scenario it all depends on his character.

I have seen men, cheat on a regular basis, and there partners never find out, and even if they have an Idea they usually don't know how much sleeping around has been done.

For example, after several years some one I knew asked his girlfriend to marry him, a few weeks later guess what he was doing.

But It is not all doom and gloom there decent guys out still around, and the guy you have your eye on may be one of them.

How about putting the feelers out. Invite a group of students out and include him, Then be yourself if he's interested let him do the leg work. Be his friend believe it or not but friends make the best partners.

i think you should go for it, right now before he leaves, cux what if he finds another girl while he is away, the you will lose you chance wit him. ask him now swo e can think about it while he's gone. well whatever you decide to do, follow your heart and good luck.

definately tell him before he leaves so he does not find some one else while he is gone. Plus, it will give him time to think about it.

I say tell him now and let him think it over. If you wait and then assault him with the info once he gets back it may overwhelm him.
