Yes, if it doesn't go through then a failure notice will come back with your email stating the reasons why it didn't go through.

Yes, it's supposed to. Ours comes in an email from something called "Mailer daemon" or something like that. Just a heads-up that it didn't go through for some reason.

No it doesn't you get and email saying that the email you sent cant be delivered to that person. It's happened to me a couple of times.

Depending on the reason for not going through, it will be in your Drafts folder or your Sent folder.

not if you're using G-mail, that's for sure! It will just disappear and you'll never know it didn't go through until it's waaaaay too late.
