talk to the local radio stations about giving a free on air concern. Say 1/2 hour. But if they agree make sure that it will be during a time slot when people will be listening. ie 5-8 pm for example.

ask ur band to play on the streets, while selling ur album or concert tickets (or anything of ur band) in front. those who appreciate will buy
