Should the FX of the original series of Star Trek be updated like the original Star Wars movies? Why/Why not?

No. The original Star Trek is extremely valuable as is. A period piece. Don't mess with it! It's hard to translate some things and this is one of them. Part of what made the original Star Trek special was its emotional/moral tone. Just leave it alone.

No. It would not only take too long to do, but would also take away from the classic feeling of the original series. Perhaps updating the movies would be alright, but not the series.

nah, better leave it that way. it's no fun to watch the re-runs when you know it's been digitally enhanced already. and why else is george lucas re-releasing the original, untouched star wars by 2007? because he just realized that nothing beats the original.

i think star trek is stupid and imature and should just be eliminated completely. besides that would b just wrong if it tried to imatate star wars. star wars is star wars and cant b changed
