How did the four women in "Sex And The City" come together as friends?

well honestly they never had the fact of who met who before .. but in an episode where Miranda was pregnant with Brady and was thinking of abortion they told of carried who had an abortion at age 21 and Samantha knew her then but as far as who was next like Charlotte or Miranda my guess it was Carrie and Samantha then Miranda then Charlotte .. just because Charlotte is younger than the rest of them..

I love that show, too. A few of the discs have commentary on the show. One of them explained that no reference is given to their parents or previous experiences because they want the viewers to focus on the four main characters. Interestingly, the only glimpse of a parent you get on the show is in Charlotte's wedding, her father gives her away but you only see him from behind. I think it's the same for referring to where and when the characters met. It would be a great 'prequel' to the show, but there is no reference to it in the book by Candace Bushnell, either. If you ever find out, I'd love to know!

they met as mercenaries working for the CIA in the South African jungles. charlotte is dead money with a .38; miranda's area of expertise is the switchblade.
