change sequence from cranking to fuel pump?

hi, when my car crank the fuel pump is active and idle for a moment then die. I notice fuel pump relay work fine and fuel pump when cranking but what continue to power fuel pump after cranking? cheap manual i have is incomplete with wiring diagram. it tell me while cranking power from ignition switch give power to fuel pump relay but id doesnt tell what happen afterward. what sensor tell computer that engine is running then to power fuel pump after cranking?

    It's called the " 8 second run ", every time you turn the ignition key to the run/start position the PCM turns the fuel pump on for 8 seconds. When PCM see's engine rpm above a set figure i.e. 500rpm , an engine running condition , it keeps the pump on. YOUR email is not confirmed, cannot reply to you...
