SUPERVISED GROUP DATES WITH FRIENDS TO THE MOVIES OR THE MALL IS THE USUAL START FOR A 13 YEAR OLD. SINGLE DATES WITH A BOY, NOT UNTIL AGE 16. THAT IS PROBABLY THE BEST YOU CAN GET. TRY THE FIRST SUGGESTION AND WAIT UNTIL SIXTEEN FOR THE SECOND ONE. I AGREE WITH WHATEVER YOUR PARENTS DECIDE...SOMEBODY HAS TO SET THE RULES, AND THAT'S THEM.

Well first ask yourself this: Have I shown my parents that i am responsible. If not then you will probably have to wait a while to go on a date. I went on my first date when I was 15 and trust me it's not a big deal. If you feel like you are ready to go on a date now, ask your parents if the guy can come over one night and hang out with the family afterwards see if they like him and if they do I say just ask them. The worst thing they can say is no!!!

There is a reason parents don't let 13 yr old date how ever there is a way to get around it. See if you can invite your guy to a family outing. They can get to know him, you will be in the safety of your parents, and you can be with your guy. Besides parents don't always watch you when your out together, they want to have fun too.

absolutely you should show your parents that you are responsible for yourself....also invite the guy u want to date over your house a few times, let's how your family responds and how he behaves...because bad guys do not want to mess around when you are with your family...and at the end, your family is the one you can really trust......

    does it help?

Wait 5 years. Simple. Your parents know what they're talking about. It may be hard to see right now, but they do. Trust me.

u don't need to be going on a date. For sure not without your dad. He can drive you guys to the ice cream stand and back home. (Make sure you sit in the front seat and the guy in the back) and don't forget to remind your dad to bring his gun to show to your date, (guys like that!)

Hey, you're very very young, baby. Dont get too excited with your teen life. I mean, wait few more years, and then only you are ready for date.

TO BE HONEST WITH YOU, YOU TRULY ARE TOO YOUNG TO BE DATING. I HAVE A 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER THAT IS NOT ALLOWED TO DATE YET. TRUST US OLD FART PARENTS, WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING. WE LOVE AND ADORE OUR GIRLS AND DON'T WANT THEM GROWING UP TOO QUICKLY. GIVE YOURSELF SOME TIME BEFORE YOU START DATING. RELAX AND ENJOY YOUR ADOLESCENCE. IT WILL BE GONE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT.

I'm sure your parents have their reasons...but find a way to show them that you are responsible.
