Albert Einstein couldn't spell, but it didn't mean that what he had to say wasn't valuable or important. It also doesn't mean that he wasn't smart. There are a lot more non-spellers out there then anyone is willing to admit. If not, there wouldn't be a "spell check". Not all words are caught by that wonderful little item. But I surely wouldn't want to discourage someone from displaying their thoughts on a certain subject because they are afraid of some pea brain picking apart their spelling and typos instead of absorbing the true content.

More people ask this question on here! LOL

Some it's because they are lazy

Some it's because they don't pay attention

    Some because they don't care

Others because they are trying to be the first answer or the 'best answer'

and finally, my excuse - because the dam thing won't work for me!!! Every time I try using it it freezes and never looks over my spelling, so I end up submitting it without checking it. Fortunately, I am a fairly well speller, but I type too fast and make mistakes often.

So, Don't worry so much about the spelling errors, just the content.

Few people use "Check Spelling" when asking or answering questions so that there could not be a spelling mistake.

I feel using check spelling encourage the other readers to read comfortably with the international spelling but not with the short form like chat spellings.

Sometimes it doesn't work. Plus, some areas do not have spell checks.
