Could be you have a firewall up..if after checking that you still have no luck try yahoo's help page

Start with making Yahoo your home page and the under tools / internet options add it as a trusted site. Under every thing yahoo you can go to account info and see whats going on.

I had this problem too the last couple of days but it was temporary.
Consider that someone may have hijacked your ID.
Do you mean that you can't set up your webcam? Obviously if you can't log in to messenger, you can't chat and therefore can't use your webcam.

coz yahoo messanger is no good, ive had problems wit it also so i went to a msn messanger

see if your phone line is connected. it did that to me it says connecting then it will go back.
