Does a lobster weigh more before they are steamed or after?

Update:

I guess I can't put too much credence in greatneck or steve's answer since they chose not to justify how they know.

I'm from Newfoundland and I just asked me dad this and he said they do neither....2 lbs lobster goes in the pot and comes out 2 lbs.

No loss during the 3 minutes they are in the pot :P

Well, I'm guessing here, but I would say it could gain a small amount of weight. I say this because it is likely the lobster would absorb some of the water in the steam.
