Anyone ever use priceline.com and know about how low you can bid?
I'm going to Dallas next week and want to try priceline, but I have no idea how low to bid for the rooms. Retail prices are around $90 - $120. Any suggestions?

I started at $25 per night in downtown Atlanta and ended up getting a Hyatt (3+ stars) for $40 a night for 22 nights!!! Just be careful not to start to high, because it will not let you bid lower as it remembers you IP or log in.

From what I have heard, you put the lowest rate in that you can. Say something like $20, you could get lucky and get it. But just be aware, you may not get a very nice hotel by putting this rate in. Even if you say you want a ___ star hotel, you may get something lower, and you can't cancel it. So just try putting low amounts in until you get something.
