nope, they even encouraged me to bring in a book. I just wait for people with technical questions and look at what people want to know in the mean-time

That depends on the company's policy with regard to personal use of its computers and internet access.
There was recently a civil case where a city employee got fired because he used the internet to visit news and travel sites while at work. He sued, claiming that it was okay for others to read the paper at work, and he won. However, keep in mind that this was a city job, which may have a different policy than your employer.
The best thing to do is review your company's policy on this topic so you know your boundaries. Some will fire over it, others don't have a leg to stand on. I would bet that most companies could fire someone over using Yahoo Answers at work, but would probably just give a warning. Multiple offenses would probably get you booted out the door though.

Nope. I work in a call center. They would probably rather me be doing something else, but inbetween calls, it's not a big deal.
