How can I get my husband to clean up after his self?

This is what I did when I was married to a slob. Take a gigantic trash bag and put everything in it. Throw it out in the yard and see how long it take him to realize it's there. When he asked hey honey where is my ____ just say you got tired of looking at it and threw it away. Next, when he is asleep in bed at night, get out all your tampons and maxipads and throw them on the floor on his side of the bed. This one really freaks them out. Put all his dirty socks and underware inside his pillowcase so he can use them as a pillow. Hide his real pillow. Also, to get them to do their own laundry, get something new and really red to wash with his whites. It turns everything pink and he willget tired of wearing pink unerwear in a hurry.

What ever you do, do not pick up after him your not his mother. Leave his stuff right where he leaves eventually he's going to get tired of looking at and probably get the hint that your tired of it to. If that doesn't work try sitting him down and talking with him, and ask him would he act this way at his mothers house if he states yes then your stuck with pig-pen.. Sorry

Hopefully he'll pick it up when he runs out of clean clothes!

Also you can try threating to throw stuff out and once in a while do throw something, so he knows you are serious.

my husband is the same way, i havent figured out what to do myself, i've told myself that i'm just going to leave things where he leaves them until he learns that i'm not picking up after him like he's a child, but i always end up doing it anyways! i dont have any good advice sorry

See what I did was leave all his things where he put them and made him pick them up everyday. I left everything and yeah my house looked messy for a while but he hates messy and after a while he learned to pick up after himself!

will not be able to coz their brains are not "under pressure" for self cleansing! To them, it quite is greater basic to anticipate us to do each and every thing! they have found out to be dependant on us so as that they have been given lazy hundreds of years in the past and time hasn't replaced! ha-ha. those "genes" have been given exceeded on interior the path of the years! :-D Your question is the final!

Heck yes you should. Leave it and see how he likes it when his stuff piles up . You're a wife, not a maid.
