Upset stomach and vomiting after eating peanuts. Sign of what type of stomach ailment?

Often after eating peanuts, my stomach starts to hurt. I've tried rolaids. That works so-so. But is this a sign I'm going to have serious stomach problems?

You could be allergic to peanuts...

Patients present with skin symptoms, throat tightness, shortness of breath, lightheadedness and/or stomach symptoms. The symptoms usually develop within half an hour of ingesting the allergen.

Rarely, food allergy can lead to anaphylactic shock: hypotension (low blood pressure) and loss of consciousness. This is a medical emergency. Allergens commonly associated with this type of reaction are peanuts, nuts, milk, egg and seafoods. Latex products can induce similar reactions.

Food allergy is thought to develop more easily in patients with the atopic syndrome, a very common combination of diseases: allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis, eczema and asthma. The syndrome has a strong inherited component; a family history of these diseases can be indicative of the atopic syndrome.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

I don't know the reason for your peanut problem, but I would definately stop eating peanuts if my stomach was hurting afterwards. Do you eat a lot of them at once?

try her on tuna? maybe the previous owners tried the kitten food but found it too rich for her and thats why shes on adult food? what kind of kitten food is she eating? try iams or whiskas dry food to start with dont go straight to wet food or that could be the reason for the upset. pets are sensitive to changes in their enviroment and if you only got her on sat shes probably a bit nervous hence the staying around u all the time. cats in general need 13-17 hrs sleep a day so dont worry bout excess sleeping. ring ur vet for advice, my cat was similar to the things ur describing except she was physically sick, the vet gave her an injection in her tummy, next day she was fine. shel need all her injections, worming, de fleaing so a trip tot he vets for a checkup would be best
