A.C. Green is correct as far as the consecutive game streak goes...

However, the only real 'iron man' in league history was Wilt Chamberlain.

Green has never averaged more than 35 minutes/game in any season of his career, and had a career average of only 28.6 minutes/game.

Chamberlain's career lasted 1,045 games, during which he averaged over 45 minutes per game.

Chamberlain played 79 complete games in one season, only sitting out a grand total of 6 minutes. He actually averaged 48.5 minutes per game that year because of playing so many overtime minutes.

Sitting out less than 3 minutes per game over the course of a 14 year career definitely makes Wilt the true "iron man" of the NBA.

Wilt also once played 47 consecutive complete games. A.C. Green played a total of 7 complete games in his career.
