Where can I get free audiobooks of decent quality online?

In German or Spanish too, but preferably English. Are there any places with a good quality sound and a decent selection or am I just stuck?

    If you want legal ones, try your library :-)

    Itunes and other sources may have some, but there won't be a lot of selection (you'll probably only get the newest titles). Individual authors' websites can also probably point you to places you can buy or download their work.
