for teleporting one needs to convert himself in to the size of photons and then pass and at that level i dont think it is possible to see where one is going as there wont be any betweeen the brain and the rest of the body !

and for this the available technology can not support

sincerely speaking, i think that it is or was an alien technology not a thing made on earth . atleast not at that time!!

AND ONE MORE THING IT WASNOT ANY ROMANIAN ...NOT FOR THE FIRST TIMEATLEAST !

it was by some HINDU GOD<P.S. I AM A CHRISTIAN>

To teleport you have to reduce an object to atoms, contain those atoms, transfer them to another location and reassemble them in the correct order. Even then, there is no guarantee that you will have at the end what you started with. For example, will the atoms automatically attract each other in the same way; in organic tissue, will nerve responses or brain waves be the same? An integral part of this process is monitoring the existence of each atom and we are barely at the level of computing technology to achieve this, certainly not with the required speed.

So it is likely to remain a SciFi notion - and useful tool for authors - for a long time yet. But it would be nice.

As for the Siddahs, well most conjurers you see on TV can appear to teleport.

Isn't is amazing that because of budget problems the teleportation mania took off? Just because Gene Roddenberry could not afford modelers and film time to show landing sequences in each episode of STAR TREK, he decided to beam the crew to the surface.

But, modern computers still cannot keep track and process all the information required to teleport an organism from one point to another. Maybe when we've built our first true STARship we'll be able to build a teleporter or transporter device with it.

We don't know if teleportation is impossible. Right now, it's beyond our technology. I never heard the ancient Siddhas made it work. Darn Muslims destroyed the library at Alexandria.

Teleporting would either consist of being deconstructed/reconstructed at the quantum level, or being propelled through a wormhole.

The process of deconstructing a person involves killing them. Would the person reconstructed at the other end be the same person? This would probably need to be done at the quantum level - in which case, the quantum information for every particle inside a person would probably fill a pile of DVDs which would extend from earth to the moon. Imagine how long it would take to upload that information, and what sort of technology would be required.

The only other way would be to create some kind of wormhole. You wouldn't be able to send a person through it as there will be no air inside the wormhole (as it would traverse outside normal space). The person would need to be inside some kind of vehicle.

Teleportation is possible, but not (yet) at a large scale. So far, they teleported a photon one meter or so from it`s initial location. The process in almost impossible for a single atom. So, no human yet.

I`m proud that the mind beyond this firs teleportation was Romanian, just like me:)

another reason is becasue in order to teleport u have to have knowledge of locations of particles. Sounds simple right. But at this point the laws of physics do not allow us to know BOTH the identity and location of a particle at the samw time. When looking at atoms we can see it's path and we can determine what an atom is - but not both at the same time

Because they read the Akashic Records.
