In today's society are people as stupid as they sound by some of the questions they pose?
Doesn't anyone anywhere know anything anymore?
With computers and TV/Satelite why doesn't anyone know anymore than they appear to know these days?
Are we truly raising generations that only have book knowledge without any knowledge from hands on experiences?
By some of the questions I saw today on this site,I have to ask myself "How do these people really expect to make it in the real world".
For those of you who do not know what "stupid" means,Webster Dictionary defines it as. ..dull of mind.
This is exactlly what I am refering to.
People today could not fight their way of a paper bag with a box cutter
even if given instructions.
Not wanting to follow instructions,
going off half baked to meet the world.
Making our roads unsafe to drive as they are not watching.
Too stupid to see the responsi-bilities in their own lives all the while blaming everyone else in their lives for those things they are too stupid and lazy to recognize or learn.
Keep in mind,this not only refers to teenagers but each and every generation.
Look how people drive.
Three lanes on an interstate and there are 3 for a reason. . . .
1) Right lane for getting on and off.
2) Center lane for straight thru
3) Left lane for passing
Been this way for years but people just get in their cars and drive with no heed to the rules they are too stupid to learn or use and wonder why they are the ones ticketed when THEY cause an accident or arrested as a result of their negligence.
People forgetting? their infants in the car while they go work?
Watch some of the court shows during the day. .Divorce Court,Judge Joe Brown,Judge Judy,and Judge Alex and see stupidity in motion.

When people pose ridiculous questions, they are usually just playing around, and on occasion stupid. But I ask you: How do you define stupid?

No, they don't know anymore than you are witnessing here.
Yes, there are those that have been raised without hands on experience, and in my view, very little book knowledge even.
They don't expect to make it in the real world. Look around, everything is just being handed out for free... right? Nick and Jessica got all that great stuff cause they're so beautiful, why not me???
The power of the television and the almighty dollar have taken over YOUR children. My kids are tv ignorant, as in have never seen a "reality" show, and broke as hell unless they want to participate in the upkeep of the home or as time wears on get jobs... it's up to them at that point.

I agree... sad to say the next generation of teenagers has no idea about "common knowledge" anymore and they're brought up to be too lazy to wanna find out.
Another problem is that the "real world" is changing to fit that kind of lifestyle, so in all reality they are gonna make just fine with new gadgets and helps to make everyday life even less "complicated" and convinient.

People ask questions, not because they don't know the answer, but because they want the answer from someone else.Maybe to see if anyone else out there knows the answer.Surprisingly many don't.And many just have their own opinion to the answer.
However, sadly, there are those who are just plain ignorant in the very core definition of the word.
