Apart from Jesus Christ, who is your favorite male and female Biblical character?

Love Sarah, Abrahams wife, she is the epitome of a submissive and trusting wife when she leaves all she knows to follow the promise of God, even obeying her husband when he puts her through some stupid episodes.

Favourite male, possibly Paul, he just went out and did what God gave him to do, got beaten, shipwrecked, imprisoned etc but never stopped rejoicing and spreading God's word. Without him the church would probably never have go off the ground

havent read the whole lot yet,

but i love David for his heart after God, and Paul becuase he just wanted to KNOW God.

but if u want others, coz most people choose them,

I also loved the disciple Andrew coz if you read all the places he is in the new testament, you will see he is always bringing someone to Jesus, and im an evangelist at heart.

and Barnabas, coz he wasnt afraid to go his own way for God, even if it meant parting from his best mate.

Females? Esther is cool for obvious reasons...

but the woman with the issue of blood, she impresses me...

with her sickness, just going out on the street to find Jesus, could have had her stoned to death by the pharisees coz she was "unclean" to them, and she wold have been weak and sore from all the loss of blood over the years, but she KNEW what she wanted, she KNEW that Jesus could heal, and with great FAITH pursued it and was rewarded. Corageous! :-)

Samson - strong man, best sense of humor of anyone in the bible

From the Bible I like Moses for his humility and trust in God.

Also Job for his righteousness and unshaken faith...
