Why do my two molars with root canals hurt?
I had the root canal treatment done two years ago. What do you thing the reason is to have some pain in it now?

1 in 100 cases of root canal can be a failure for no apparent reason. two years is a long time to consider it a failure on the dentist side, but it can happen... incomplete cleaning of the canal or incomplete filling of the canal. Adjacent tooth can be responsible for it. or it can be a completely new problem of gingival origin. a visit to dentist and a x ray will solve your problem.

I am assuming that these root canals are not new. If they are, it's because they are new and nothing feels worse than a root canal except maybe childbirth with no drugs.
I would get your teeth checked by a dentist (not the same one that did your root canals!) very soon. You may have an absess in another tooth that is setting off pain in the root canals, you may have had some infection that was missed in the root canals that has festered, or you may have something in your jawbone putting pressure on the root canals. Best to have it checked to be safe.

Open wider....wider...say AHHHHH....
ok, go to a different and better dentist than before. The first dentist may have done an incomplete job, or there may be an abcess under the teeth now. Untreated, this can cause all sorts of health problems if this is what is happening.

well its not the tooth, there is no nerve in it...but there is a nevre just at the base of the tooth, so if there is an infection or imflamation there it can still hurt, also pain in any tooth phantoms along the nerve path so it could be another tooth, the obvious thing to do is see a dentist and have x-rays taken

either the dentist did not get all the nerve out or it is just sore if you just got the root canals.

Or you have a bad dentist or you have gum problem..
Is your gum very red? If yes you may have gingivitis....do mouth wash to help.
Is the pain is very bad take uphamol (not sure about the spelling) it is the best for tooth pain.
go to see a other dentist if possible....
