When you arrive at Logan Airport stop at the Massport information booth, usually located in the arrival terminal. I could tell you exactly where if I knew what airline you were flying. But lets assume you are flying United, then you would arrive at Terminal C, Logan has 5 terminals (A-Delta, B-U.S. Airways Side & American Side, C - United, Jetblue etc., D-Air Tran & Charters, and E - Northwest and InternationalCarriers). The information booth is located in the center of the "Arrivals" area, by the Baggage Claim and they will be able to give you a schedule and pricing, you can also check the bus company's website, which I included below along with Massport's website. The bus carrier that services the cape area is Plymouth & Brockton Bus Lines. Hope this information helps you. Have a wonderful trip and I hope you enjoy your stay in Boston/Cape Cod.
P.S. If you don't want to take the bus directly down to the Cape from Logan they also pick up during the day at South Station in Boston's Financial District. You can reach South Station by taking the local T (train), by cab, or depending on where your staying you may be in walking distance. And once there you can check the train schedule for the Cape as that is where the trains heading down leave from.

You can take the boat over to the Cape, when you get to Boston ask for the brochures, it costs around 35 to 40 dollars. Have fun here in Boston it's a great City.

Take the Bus from South Station (It cost about $15) to Hyannis bus station. The boat deck is just a few minutes walk. Take the boat to the Cape.

You can also fly from a small airport if you want. Buses and trains are cheaper and in my opinion better cuz you can see all the cites, but there are tons of small airports where you can get a cheap flight. I've never done it but i know it can be done.
