Are SATA Hard Disks a great improvement over ATA 100 or 133 ?

What are difference in Data speed and are there any advantages?

    The data transfer rate is faster and another nice thing is the cables which are much thinner and allow for more airflow in the case. One disadvantage of the interface is that it is much more delicate and suceptible to break than IDE.

    Normal IDE hard disck rmp is 5600 - 7200 is for baracuda, seagate.

    In SATA Data transfer rate is faster that IDE

    SATA HDD are 3.5 time faster then ATA HDDs
