What happened that Chris got voted off American Idol, when everybody seems to think he should have won?

Clearly NOT everybody seems to think he should have won.

The same people who voted Bush into office are now voting on American Idol.

1. Not enough people voted for him perhaps thinking he would get plenty anyway.

2. The voting is rigged in some way so as to create some controversy thus giving an extra boost in the ratings as well as the media attention this gets.

I don't know the answer - just some possible suggestions!

From what I hear American Idols voting system is seriously askew.People have speed dialers that dial and redial over and over. Some votes dont get through. Sometimes an entire town cant get through

I guess Kat fans sat on the phone all night just hitting redial and Chris fans voted a few times and then went on about life. See, Chris fans have a life, Kat fans basically don't.

I don't know.It seems like something went wrong somewhere.He was the best by far on American Idol.Everybody loved him.He always did great.He never had a bad night.But, he'll have bigger and better things happen to him in the future.So theres no worries!

I guess people must have just thought that everyones gonna vote for him so theres no point me voting for him too .... or maybe he wasn't as popular as everyone first thought ... anyway he's got a record deal now so oh well ... coming forth isn't so bad!

Everyone thought it was a given that he would win so they didn't vote. There are rumors that when people dialed his number they got Kat's voice thanking them for voting. So who knows whst really happened.

Chris has a good voice but he sounds like all the new rock singers...think people decided that we need a new voice on the radio and cds.
