When dogs get wet, why do they ALWAYS...?

I've heard dogs love to please their master and if it makes you laugh, it his way of saying 'I love you, man' lol

I wouldn't know why they do that, just nature I guess, but it is pretty funny to see a dog shake off water right on their owner.

It sure seems that way.. however you can train your dog not to shake until you give him the command. I see that done a lot in hunting dogs.

MY DOG DOESN'T DO THAT.....SHE GETS UP IN THE CHAIR AND WAITS FOR ME TO BLOW DRY HER....I BLOW DRY HER ON LOW HEAT AND JUST ENOUGH TO GET THE EXCESS WATER OFF.............ALSO A WAY TO STOP THAT IS AS SOON AS YOU ARE DONE BATHING HER, TAKE A LARGE TOWEL AND LAY IT OVER THE DOG AND THEN LET THEM SHAKE....KEEPS YOU AND EVERYTHING ELSE AROUND YOU FROM GETTING WET!!!!!!!!!!

yea they do lol mine just did that to me it is raining outside and the first thing he did was shake off right where i was un hocking him from his leash. he also does it to me and my husband when we give him a bath. i guess it is a dog thing. it's kind of funny because he looked at me and grinned.

It's there way of getting even with you for all the mean thing you do to them

All dogs do that and I have no idea why. Weird huh? Good question.

I think it's part of their innate sense of dog ego.

Yeah, i kno, lol w/ 4 dogs, when they take a bath, you get a shower!!! HAHA... yeah

They probably just want to have fun with you even tho it
