Can anyone please tell me where I could find a book or maybe cd to learn Marathi language from India?

My love is from India, and he speaks marathi. It would be very helpful in our relationship if I could learn to speak his native tongue. So any information on this subject will be greatly appreciated!! Really am hoping someone can help me!

There is a very good Indian publisher of "Learn [Language] in 30 days through [another language]" They have been publishing these books (National Integration Series) for atleast 3 decades as far as I know. These books are good and you can learn the language though English or any other Indian language you are familiar with.

If you are abroad you can buy this book from Amazon

Well, unfortunately there are no good cd's or book that can help u learn marathi. marathi is a bit complicated language to speak. If u feel like, i can help u learn some simple, most commonly used marathi words. Just mail me throug my profile.

Try Rosetta Stone. It's a cd program that you use on the computer. They have a lot of languages available, so I'm assuming marathi is there. Good luck!
