completely retarded question. it depends on ur mouth. is it moist? how large is ur tounge? the size of the tootsie pop? the amount of candy on the outside? there are many different questions that change the outcome of every persons amount

It took me 559 licks, but it all depends on how you lick it. If you suck on it a bit, it'll take fewer licks. At the same time, whether or not you mouth is dry can also affect the total number. For example, if your mouth is totally dry, it'll take way more licks.
I didn't suck at all, and my mouth wasn't dry.

i don't lick it, I suck on it, and then I can't stand it anymore, (I hate hard candies) and I just end up biting into it. I'm lucky I never cracked a tooth.
