Hi, we can help if you edit your post and tell us what you mean by protected and what you want to play it on? eg: winmedia player, ipod, flute, etc.
There are loads of free apps that will "rip" an audio disk to mp3 or preferably something lossless like .shn
.shn might be a bit dated, I have not checked lately.

depends on wat music system you have there are options in most of the player that you can change so you can play them look into wat you have and i am sure you will come up with some thing
