Is Ralph Vaughan Williams work under-rated?
Im a big fan of his work, and wondered if I was alone in thinking he made some truly beautiful music - The Lark Ascending come to mind.
Thanks for the enormous effort to make a humorous remark IndianPunjabbiHeat90210. Shame it seems you know jack **** about music.

Yes! I have always believed that many of Britains great composers especially in the 20th century have been grossly under-rated and should be given more attention.I for one have great respect for Sir William Walton (Spitfire Prelude & Fugue ),Sir Ralph Vaughan Williams ( his Sea Tone Poem is inspiring! )Sir Arthur Bliss ('Things to Come" ) and of course Gustav Holst - The master of our "Planets":)

Ralph Vaughan Williams is totally under-rated. The man is a musical genius. The Lark Ascending was just the beginning of his legendary achievements. Did you know that he wrote it while bathing in a bathtub of vanilla pudding? The man's works go on and on. From lyrics to Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin" and having produced Will Smith's latest single "Don't Cuss and the Women Still Blush", Ralph Vaughan Williams is on his way to stardom. I also have heard rumors that he plans to sign with the New York Knicks as a power forward. Right now he's working on his Supreme Court case titled "Case 69". It involves his connection with the porno industry and Disney films.
