Why people consider a 40 y/o adult guy that likes 18 teen y/o girls as a pervert?

I think every man would choose a younger girl if they could, lol. Why do you think all the women in the porno mags and that, models, actresses, etc.; are all within the 18-30 range; have all those 'barely legal' chicks in the mags? (I've never looked at a porno, lol; you can buy them at petrol stations here; or they have adds on TV or billboards for the mags, etc., Kind of hard to miss what it says when it's in like ten million font, lol.)

As for your last comment; because they are closer age wise. My veiw on age is that it's just a number, nothing more; but not everyone agrees with this. My husband and I, we have 15 years different between us; we were friends first, then dated; then were together; it wasn't just because of age; we just clicked, could talk for ever, even the first night we met, talked for about seven hours;our record was 18 hours in one 24 hour period, lol (It was a weekend, we had a free day, both of us); we have an extremely strong bond, never fight, are always doing those little things for each other that matter so much; but even with the fact that we both feel that we were made for each other; some people still are shocked when they hear the age difference. If you want them just for sex, and act on it, then that's a problem. That's a problem for any age group. But if it's someone you've truelly fallen for, and she has for you; then it shouldn't be anyone else's problem; it's yours, and her decision.

However, based on your second comment, sex is pretty high up on that list of yours. If sex is what you want; I recommend you look closer to your age group, for a girl who more knows life; and is less likely to be coerced into things. As I mentioned, I think it's normal for any guy to find a younger woman attractive. What's not normal is using them. Find someone you're intelectually, mentally, attracted to, someone you just find that click with; then go for it, regardless of the age. Having any kind of relationship with someone you only find physically attractive is highly likely to end up bad for both you and the girl. Find the personality, mental, etc, traits you're after; the things that would really denote that special someone to you; the physical is easy to find; it's the rest, the stuff that really matters; that's the hardest parts to find. You may find you find a younger girl. But don't rule out any age group. You rule out a good portion of prospective partners then.

1) 18 year old girl. Has been an adult for a year. Max. Not to stereotype, but generally unstable. This is the time in any person's life when their crap is not together yet. Future plans include getting married, children, getting a mission in life (career, or maybe care for kids!)

2) 40 year old guys have done this. If a single 40-year old wants to care for children, I'd be a little suspicious until knowing them better. You've lived and loved, and should have some ability and desire to form a relationship.

Future plans include reducing work to include time for family and hobbies, making the most of personal time.

These two have little to nothing in common. Therefore, people assume that you simply want sex. This type of relationship also blurs the line between father-daughter and lovers, which is disturbing to those on the outside.

If you are financially well-off, people will also assume she is attracted to your money, and only wants a relationship for the lifestyle that you offer.

By the way, your f-bomb in the question gives the impression that you are a pervert. You could have been polite, but instead chose to give off a less mature impression.

I wouldn't consider the 40 year-old guy a pervert. It may be that men generally like to stay within their age range, but it doesn't seem abnormal that they'd be attracted to young and pretty women either. It does, however, seem a bit more perverted that those young and pretty 18 year-olds would want to have sex with some 40 year-old guy. Gotta wonder what's going on there.

This just begs the question: Is it better to be an honest pervert or a lying pervert?

I'd wager that the vast majority of forty-year-old guys dig girls who are eighteen. I guess that only a certain percentage will admit it, though.

I'm in my 40's and to me experience goes a long way. I love all the things I have in common with girls around my age.
