How do I block the flash ad at the bottom of my messenger contact list?
I recently got a new computer and had to re-install Yahoo messenger. Now whenever I open messenger there is a "flash" ad at the bottom of my contact list, just above the search bar. I right click the ad hoping to delete it but the only options are for playing the ad. I used yahoo messenger on my old computer but never had this and I'm pretty sure I had the latest version too. Anyone have any idea? Thanks.

That's a permanent feature unfortunately.
Since its a free messenger yahoo has to look to advertising to make money.
