Would living in my truck for a few months be a good way to save up money and pay my outstanding debts?
It would be for 3-6 months. I could shower at a 24 hour fitness facility, where I would also work out to get into shape. I would do this for 6 months, then take a few months to hike the Pacific Crest Trail, something I've always wanted to do. Then, I could start college. I would like being mobile I think. I'd like answers from people that have done this, or know someone that has. Or just if anyone has some good input. =)

A van would be better than a truck, but neither is a really great way to live. The main reason this stinks is because it is difficult to control the temperature inside the vehicle. With summer coming, it's going to be very hot inside that truck, and the only way to keep it cool is to run the AC. Gasoline engines don't really like to be idled, so that's not really an option (and with the price of gas you'd be better off just getting an apartment!)

Like my Dad told me once, if you're gonna be dumb you gotta be tough. So, yea, if you can stand it go for it. Good luck.
