Why does milk have a longer time until the expiration date in paper?
Milk has a lot longer time until it expires if it is packaged in the paper containers. Why does it not last as long in plastic?

That is because the paper is a more natural container, and does not contain the chemicals that plastic has. The paper has natural minerals and stuff in it that acts like a natural preservative.
And like the other peops said, the light DOES go through the plastic but thats a minor thing, not enough to make more than a day of a difference!
