Shy or not shy,which is better?

outgoing. I'm like you, shy until u get to know me. for me, its kinda hard to talk to someone who is shy as well cuz we just end up not talking.

I think if the girl is shy she will like outgoing, BUT, if she is outgoing, she will like shy--opposites attract, ya know. When surveys are done, 50% of people report being shy and approximately 50% report being outgoing--so neither one is better, just different. Also, most people say they would rather BE outgoing. I think both types of people have to work on balancing themselves out--the outgoing person needs to watch their tendency to be too loud or insensitive or tendency to talk too much and not listen--so the person they're with feels non-existent or unimportant. On the other hand, shy people need to work at being less quiet and reserved, not reaching out enough, not giving of themsevles and their thoughts and feelings, etc.

I like shy. That usually means they're the opposite of cocky and bragging. I think the not shy guys are a turn off when they say I love you about 80 times a day, but when the shy guy says it with all of his heart on only special occasions then that's the best.

I think you should be yourself and not worry about what girls like better. Because that's what girls really like.

If you want to be more outgoing, just forcing yourself to take risks every so often will help. And do random stuff like e-mail someone who seems cool from yahoo answers.

I'm the same way and love has worked out really well for me, but I think that's because I wasn't afraid to be who I really was. Just don't worry and people like you will be attracted to you. I think that's a quote...

Outgoing, girls wont waste their time on shy guys.

Out going is better most of the time. Unless there is a really louf obnoxious guy that wont be quiet, then girls really like how not over bearing you are. Just be in the middle. What you feel comfortable with. Silence is always akward and makes girls feel stupid, so if it starts getting quiet, start sasking her questions about what she likes and what not.

Depends on what the girl is like, but I think outgoing is always preferred.

it all depend on the situation, when you are shy or not.

there places you don't want to be outgoing as you could get in trouble with the law.

then there are places you want to be outgoing if you are really having fun and want to express yourself.

Well I'm shy too but learning how to get over that.....I really don't think it matters about shyness or not. B/c shy guys eventually get past the "shy stage".......

usually outgoing with responsibility is better. be careful about how much u show or the impression u make on people. u don't wanna be known as a crab always in it's shell..but neither as some idiot who is always spontaneous with no sense..rite
