    freakin has a few connotations

freakin out: denotes worrying, paranoid behavior or wild movements

    phreakin: phone hacking

freakin or frickin: similar to such swear words as "bloody" or "f*ckin".. used in contexts such as "my freakin video player wont work"

I've only heard people say this in the movies, as a (rather foolish-sounding) substitute for "f--king." In real life, it would probably draw a funny look.

f*cking as in "Holy Freakin' Hell!"

Loseing it as in "he's freakin' out"

It's versatile. It can mean f*ck, or they could be referring to dancing.
