I have a leak under the frount axle on my truck and I think It's coming from the oil filter

Update:

thanks for the answer.

Update 2:

I looked underneath and I feel that there is more oil near the oil filter but I'm not sure

Update 3:

Where are the oil lines located and can I do this myself or should I go to a professional

4 cylinder on the passenger side facing out sideways, 2.8 or a 4.3 it is on the passenger side toward the back facing the ground. Unless it is a remote filter then it could be anywhere on the fenders or front end. If not the filter best guees would be the front or rear seals or a valve cover running down the side of the block

under the front end there is a skid plate. ON that skid plate there is a plastic door with 2 screws in it. Open the door and there you go. the filter is under the door. As far as the leak it is most likely the oil cooler lines that carry oil from the engine to the filter. If you are mechanically inclined you could probably do it yourself but I would recommend that you have it done around $100-$200 if you take it somewhere. All those blazers with 4.3 engine and filter in front wil leak.. It is a metal line crimpped into rubber line and they leak at the crimp

time to get ye flashlight and investigate...could be oil pan seal, s-10's got a smaller engine, so the oil filter's probably on one side...start with a steam clean, then drive it...if there's a bunch of crap on the underside of the truck, you'll never find it til you get it clean...
