Any interior designers in here?

I am interested in this as a career. Are you satisfied with this choice? What made you decide? Challenges and rewards? How much money do you average? Thanks!

I have a similar career..I am a graphic designer. I really like it, the only down fall is some clientel are dumb and don't know design and want something with no taste. Our problem is...freelance, get your name out, charge what ever price you want and make money with out benefits or that kind of stuff. Or work for a company, have no name cause the company will get the credit for the work. but you get benefits and things here

i did this for about a year, that is all i could take. im not saying you will have problems, but i did. there was times i got burned by the customer, if they changed their mind, or didn't pay me my money. i problem with workers not showing up to the job. and they wanted to get paid big bucks to do the work (painting, wall paper, etc..)i paid them what they were worth, and sometimes it wasn't good enough for them, they would expect to get paid $15 per hour, yeah right. my workers weren't going to get paid more than me. taxes was a b****, and i had so much trouble out of men. if i went to a construction site to help someone with plans the men went ape wild. they are such dogs. that was my experience.
