i use to have anxiety attacks so bad that i couldnt leave my house. if i left i couldnt stand to be over 10 miles or so from home or i would actually pass out from panic, i couldnt breath or move totally freeze up. i learned to control my attacks by getting out and socializing, it was real hard at first but with a buddy to call up when the attacks got bad helped me from killing my self. it took me a long time to recover.

I used to and I hope I never have to again. They're very crippling...its actually pretty hard to describe if you've never had one. Its this extremely irrational feeling of impending doom that you just can't turn off no matter how hard you try. You found a weird lump on your face...it might be cancer! You're dying! Start planning the last few days/weeks of your life!...when in reality its just a zit. You took somebody else's cart in the supermarket and they saw you...he might have followed you home! He might break into your house at any moment planning to kill you! You better go outside disguised so he doesn't see you!...in reality the other guy's probably at home watching the game.

Its extremely hard to get over. I had to take pills to get rid of it, but it didn't go away completely. A good diet with exercise helps alot in easing the attacks. Panic attacks are basically anxiety gone wild :S

I am so happy, it was only a 35 minute drive ( 70 minutes total) but absolutely no sign of anxiety or panic i shopped till I dropped - brilliant! I will now go for the next stage DUAL CARRIAGE way, probably at the weekend, with my husband accompanying me first then the solo drive, if successful the final stage of driving on motorway
