What size socket to remove 1990 BMW 525i spark plug?

Planning on doing some quick maintenance.

    5/8" spark plug socket i think .... if not then it's a 13/16" spark plug socket ..... you can buy either one for a couple bucks at most any parts store

    5/8 spark plug socket, and then look up the gap in your manual.

    it is a 5/8"
