You really can't go wrong in Cornwall. It is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a Clifftop hotel in St. Ives last year called The Garrick, it was charming. The beaches are sand, the weather is the best you will find in the UK. St. Ives has an artists colony. There is a fabulous amphitheatre overlooking the sea at Minnack where you can see a play, you can ride, surf, drink in little Inns, go sea fishing, eat cream teas and stand on cliff tops looking out at clear water that will take your breath away. Enjoy!

    SOUTHPORT!!! SOUTHPORT!!! SOUTHPORT!!!

If you are looking for a kickass beach in Britain you can't beat Southport.

It's on the west coast, north of Liverpool, south of Blackpool. Its miles and miles of beautiful sand. Its a great resort town with so much to do.....

You should go. Trust me, if you do you will never forget, "SOUTHPORT BY THE SEA!"

PLUS, I think there football team just gained promotion giving you even more reason to go.
