There is no way of getting rid of the abscess without seeing a dentist, it is an infection that will need antibiotics and the source of the infection taken care of like an extraction or a root canal. pop it and let it drain and then rinse with listerine,yes it will burn! be sure not to swallow after popping it because that is gonna be puss coming out!you probably need to do it 2 times a day! but word of warning the tooth is gonna hurt more after popping it!because the puss is putting pressure on it right now and when you pop it the pressure will be off of the nerve and there fore it will hurt more!
