Why do you pee so much when you drink alcohol?

how do you know i pee alot when im drunk

Two reasons.

First, alcohol draws water out of the cells in the body. Alcohol attracts water. You have the same effect when you add a de-icer to your gas tank during the winter.

Secondly, it acts on the brain to decrease the hormone that stimulates the reabsortion of water by the body.

Result? you loose more water from the body than you are taking in from your drink.

only light colored alcohol makes u pee alot bcz it doesn't stop to change colors

it depends on what alcohol i drink.......if is light ...like beer yes, but for hard ones no..........
