How can China TV expect 10 Billion to tune into the World Cup finals?
I know there is about 6.5 Billion people on the globe. So how do they figure 10 billion? World soccer's governing body FIFA reckon the last World Cup finals in Japan and South Korea attracted an aggregate global television audience of 28.8 billion. How is this possible?

The China bit is mistaken. FIFA's 28.8 billion is a collective figure counting all the games watched during the month-long tournament.

When FIFA mentioned this aggregate number (which I very much doubt they had) they were referring to the marine life audience in the oceans surrounding the host countries who are very fond of such a sportive occasion that occurs only once every four years, LOL.
