Who has Tivo or Dvr???

I had TiVo for over a year and, like many others, don't know how I ever watched TV without it. Recently I switched from TiVo to the DVR provided by my cable company. There have been several pros and a few cons:

Pros of DVR vs. TiVo:

- DVR through my cable company is cheaper by about $3/month

- DVR records two shows at once while I'm watching a third

- The recorded picture is much more clear because the DVR is my cable box

Cons of DVR vs. Tivo:

- The picture sometimes breaks up on my DVR, sometimes to the extent that the show completely stops and is unwatchable (which never happened with TiVo)

In any case, the DVR/TiVo is the best thing to happen to TV since high definition!

DVR, i love it i so glad i don't have to keep flipping back and forth to watct 2 shows or stay up late trying to watch a movie that stays on until 3 in the morning. I don't see how i managed without it.

I got a DVR, and I love it!!! It makes everything so much more convenient, now my fiance and I don't have to argue over a TV show. For only $6 more a month too, how could you go wrong...

I have a dvr and it is so great. I work nights and i never miss my favorite shows now

I have DVR with my cable service and LOVE it! I wish I could change just a few things but overall it rocks!

I have DVR from Time warner cable. It works well and is easy to use.

it is wonderful isn't it? i heard that certain TV makers were trying to manufacture a Television that would not allow you to fastforward through commercials with TIVO or change channels when you are watching live TV! How awful would that be? I hate commercials!

I have a dvr I rent from cox - I agree, I don't know how I survived with a vcr b4!!!

i have a friend who has dvr and it's great. i hope to get it soon myself.
