You know something? It would surprise you how many people really don't look that closely, and those who do always seem to have to tell you about it! Example? Cold sores. Anyone who ever had one will never upset you in any way about them, but they might offer you some new ways to help shorten where they decided to encamp. The tooth thing is strange - if you are simply waiting for a temporary or permanent bridge, the dentist will usually provide temporary high-density temporary teeth to tide you over until your new ones arrive. In some select circles and in some circle-tribes, missing front teeth are considered very sexy and the height of fashion and leadership. If I came upon you and we were conversing, the last thing I would do even if you twisted my arm is to mention it. God, don't people have enough on their minds without point out two missing teeth? It isn't that people wouldn't notice. The thing would be - which people are brought up well enough to make you feel comfortable with them, no matter what. I hope whatever spin this question really represents, I hope the hardship to you will be very brief and that you'll be smiling your big smile as usual in no time at all! Sent to you with a big hug from - G. in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A.
Source(s): When I had a cold sore once, one of my "friends" actually said, "OH, THAT THING IS BACK ON YOUR FACE AGAIN, HUH?" I just looked at him in silence. I let the remark just sit there in the air, like a fart. Sorry - but you have to fight back with silence, sometimes. - G. (P.S.: He felt the silence, believe me.) - Anonymous2 decades ago
I think people who you see every single day would not notice right away but that would be the first thing other people would see. One of my high school friends had a front tooth knocked out by a phone. I never noticed...Until people started asking me what happened to her tooth. Then I was like Ohhh...when did that happen? She was really good at hiding it. The whole crooked smile really does work for her...could for you too : /

Yeah, but in some cultures, a wide gap between the top center teeth is considered attractive. In others, it's the sign of a loose woman. Not sure about Australia.

where is this question coming from?? I lost peace of my front tooth and was not about if people notice ( cause after it was fixed you could barely notice ) it is all in my head ( thinking a lot about that it is not my tooth any more freaked me out ) I don't know if I answered your question but I think you would be beautiful even without your front teeth.

I lost my two front teeth when I was 16. Did you notice? :D
(caps are amazing......they actually look better than my original teeth did)

Not if you suck a lemon first to curl your lips in! How do you plan on losing them? Extreme sports , fighting with your boyfriend, or just smashing your face against the wall for fun?
- carolinayayaLv 42 decades ago
nah just stick some chicklets there to replace the lost teeth, no problem

I afraid they would. I hope your not havving to get them pulled. If you do have to, you can always get fake ones sewn in, my uncle got all of his teeth pulled and got new ones done like that.

Not if you had a good dentist/orthodontist. Now, if you left them out, you'd look like me when I smile...and people would DEFINITELY notice that!
Source(s): OK, I'm not missing any teeth, but I do have a big gap between the top two front teeth...and not a sexy, Lauren Bacall gap either!
