You say you 'can't help yourself'. This indicates to me that you are a flirtacious person, and if you want to be with his friend you should probably reign it in a bit. It's his friend you are after and not him, so flirting with him wont get you the result you want. Afterall, the other guy probably thinks you don't fancy him because you are so busy flirting with other people!

Be yourself and relax, you don't need to flirt for a guy to like you.

If u like his freind, ask him questions about him, let him know you're only interested in him!

That'll clear things up for him, and he wont think you are using him! Mates can often have an influence earlier on in the relationship, so dont let him bad mouth you, if he thinks you rejected him! Clarify things!

Trying to avoid him is a good idea, but I feel that it is better not to lead people on because he can take your avoiding him as playing hard to get and become even more aggressive. I think your best bet is to tell him how you feel but in a nice way, and try not to hurt his feelings, you really don't want a stalker on your hands, trust me. lol.

just don't go around him you can look at him and stuff but don't go around him or stand up for your self and say i'm not going to flirt with you becuz you are telling me to and that should do it
