Can someone please answer this about yahoo answer users?

I don't understand myself, you loose points for asking and you can not answer your own to get points. I think they are lazy and it is also getting old reading stupid questions that make no sense. This should be for meaningful information. Not like what came first the chicken or the egg. Who the hell cares, it will never be fact, just people guessing. I wish it were for just useful information.

I think that it is a way to communicate. If i know where or how to find a website and i want to go and find the info then i think nothing of it. U can skip those questions by clicking on home and other questions show up. Answer only the ones u want to.

Asking questions cost u 5 points so i am not sure if asking a simple question is worth the points but then again the points don't mean much.

I think they are lazy - you loose points by asking questions. It is possible that they do not understand how to use search engines. If the Yahoo community will do the work for them, then why learn.

These people don't know where to look on the Internet, or able to find a useful source, so they turn to Yahoo! Answers for help.
