I think most animals have learned to run from fire. Rhinos can't see very well either so I doubt they would run and try to stomp out anything but a stupid human who tries to light their world on fire.

Rhinos have a great sense of smell, but lousy eyesight and if there's a fire and little or no wind, they can blunder into a grass fire fairly easily. At which point they react like any other living animal. They beat their feet to get the heck OUTTA THERE!

I looked and looked and looked, but could find nothing to suggest that this is a true statement.
I tried, but if this is really important to you than I hope someone is able to provide better info for you.
I did find out that there are only 5 species of Rhino left and that their closest relative is the horse!
Crazy info to me!
