When replacing a shower door, how do you remove the silicone caulk?

    I would use a putty knife but then after the lion share is off, use a solvent specifically to remove the caulk...I've used orange clean as directed on the bottle.

    Fast Orange and a inmexpensive tool sold at Lowes that is made to remove caulk.

    Start with the razor blade, single, blade. After that a quality putty knife shouls finish the job.

    i used to install and remove shower doors and walls all we used was a razor blade flat against the tile.thats it

    I use a dremal tool. with light pressure

    the only thing that i know of is a putty knife, a lot of scraping
