Anyone who's had a breast reduction...?

I had my breast reduction two weeks ago and I am thrilled! However, I am curious - how long did it take for that "my boob is asleep" feeling to go away? They say that all of my feeling will come back, and some has already, but I just wonder about the length of time. How long was it for you? I appreciate any experienced comments! Thanks!

Update:

A few days after I posted this, all of the feeling just came back instantly! Very bizarre! So I'm pretty much back to normal. Now my incisions just itch like hellfire! Any suggestions on that?

I think mine took 5-6 months, but when they wake up you'll know it!! I was at the races on a nippy (pardon the pun) night, it was almost painful when the feeling came back. They stayed cold for awhile. I had 2.5# taken off and I'm 5'1". Very glad I had it done, I wish I had done it in high school.

my best friend had one and she said her Doc said it could take up to 3 months for all the feeling to come back. The nerves just need time to grow back after some were severed by the surgery. Good luck, she loves hers.

as with any surgery the only kind of numb feeling you should have is where the incision or scars are.
